a little about me

well hello there! my name is kate and i was inspired by my sister bridget to start a blog...so now you are all in big trouble! this blog will probably take some wild turns as i discover how to balance being a mom, a wife, a friend...and look good while i am at it. i live in south jersey with my husband michael, our son quinn, and our 22 year-old frog dave (no...i am not kidding). as a first-time mom of a 3 month old, roughly 98% of my time is spent with quinn and i am loving it! things i also love: my husband, my family, working as a labor and delivery nurse, cooking, shopping, talking to one of my three sisters on the phone, friends, red wine, dark beer, the beach, music (ray lamontagne currently being my favorite), yoga, steak, modern family...the list could go on. enjoy my lipstick junglegym!
